Candle Safety

For the safest burn, follow these guidelines whenever you light a Lemon Bluff candle.

Keep candles in sight
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish candles before leaving the room or going to sleep, and keep them away from anything that can catch fire.

Limit burn time
Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extinguish the candle if the vessel becomes excessively hot or the flame becomes too large.

Keep the wax pool clear
Keep the melted wax free of wick trimmings, matches, and other debris.

Choose a safe location
Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, open windows, fans, and air vents. Keep burning candles away from children and pets.

Know when to stop
Discontinue use when approximately 1/2" of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Never burn a candle all the way to the bottom.

Extinguish carefully
Use a candle snuffer or gently extinguish the flame without disturbing the melted wax. Never use water to extinguish a candle
