The Matanzas River at St. Augustine was the main entrance to the historic city, America's oldest port. The body of water is often referred to as the Matanzas Harbor in the immediate vicinity of the city's waterfront.
Founded in September 1565 by Don Pedro Menendez de Aviles of Spain, St. Augustine is the longest continually inhabited European-founded city in the United States – more commonly called the "Nation’s Oldest City."
The Castillo de San Marcos, the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States, is a large Spanish stone fortress built to protect and defend Spain's claims in the New World. It is a National Monument, more than 327 years old, and is the oldest structure in St. Augustine.
Our St. Augustine candle transports you back in time to the fortress, with scents of smoke, myrrh, musk, oud and leather.
Today, St. Augustine is packed with beautiful architecture, unique shops and a robust restaurant and bar scene. You can visit the Fountain of Youth, climb the Lighthouse, take a ghost tour or experience the Nights of Lights from November-January.

Candle Care Tips
Candle Care Tips
- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep. We recommend burning for a maximum of 4 hours each time you enjoy your candle.
- Follow the 2-foot rule. Don't place a burning candle within 2 feet of clothing, books, curtains, or other flammable objects.
- Keep lit candles away from drafts, ceiling fans, and any air currents. This keeps the flame burning steadily in the center of the candle.
- Trim the wick to ¼” before every burn. This helps prevent the flame from getting too large, and also cuts down on any excess soot.
- Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.
- When burning multiple candles at once, always place them at least 3 inches apart from each other.
- A burning candle should never be used as a nightlight. Always extinguish any lit candles before going to sleep.
- A candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time, exceeding this could cause safety issues.

How It's Made

Precision and Passion: Every Candle Perfected
Each candle is thoughtfully created with superior products. Before we introduce our new collections, we thoroughly test each candle type and recipe. We conduct multiple burn tests, ensuring the right wicks and fragrance amounts are being used, and confirm the candle is performing as it should.

The Perfect Candle Awaits After a Two-Week Cure
Once all tests are passed, we create your candle! We then let the candle cure for 2 weeks. This allows the candle to harden, improving the melt pool while it burns. This also allows the fragrance to be distributed throughout the candle, binding to the wax, and improving the overall scent.
Once cured, another quality check is performed, and we prepare the candle to present to you.
Enjoy!
Love it!
