Thanksgiving: Being Thankful, on Purpose

Thanksgiving: Being Thankful, on Purpose

By Lemon Bluff Candle Company

Thanksgiving sneaks up every year. One minute you’re buying Halloween candy, and the next you’re negotiating oven space. Under the recipes, travel plans, and grocery lists, though, Thanksgiving is really about one simple, powerful thing: being thankful, on purpose.

Sometimes what keeps us going aren’t the big milestones, but the tiny, ordinary moments.

Think of things like:

  • That first quiet cup of coffee or tea in the morning
  • A good laugh that comes out of nowhere
  • A text that says, “Made it home safe”
  • A sunset that makes you pause for just 10 seconds
  • Leftovers that mean you don’t have to cook

These “little” things are often what make our days feel livable, gentle, and human. Thanksgiving is a great excuse to start noticing them more.

There is power in:

  • Thanking the people who show up. The host, the cook, the friend who brought rolls, the person who drove the longest.
  • Appreciating the “everyday” people. The partner who takes out the trash, the kids who make you laugh, the friend who sends memes when you’re stressed.

A simple “I’m really glad you’re here” can mean more than the fanciest dessert on the table.

At LBCC, if there’s one thing we’ve learned this year, it’s this:

We would not be here without you.

Thank you for showing up. Your support, whether through a purchase, a follow, a share, a message, or a kind word—keeps this little dream burning bright. Each time you choose LBCC, you’re choosing to support a small, local business.  You’re helping us grow, and give back through conservation and involvement right here in our little corner of Florida.

You’ve shared our candles in your homes, in your celebrations, in your quiet moments, and in your holiday gifting. And that means more than we can ever fully express.

Thank you for welcoming our creations into your life. Thank you for cheering us on. Thank you for helping us build something meaningful.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Lisa, Mike & Bella
